SLS is a Michigan organization that supports Michigan students and Michigan schools. SLS's purpose is to train students in school-based health initiatives. SLS recognizes the harmful effects of alcohol and the use of other drugs by underage teens. SLS believes that students have a voice and make a difference.
SLS understands and believes that the best approach to change self-defeating behavior into self-promoting behavior is empowering students to create an atmosphere in which students learn key skills: Critical Thinking, Decision Making, and Communication Skills.
